Element by Marriott of Bend, Oregon

Bend, Oregon is one of the most desirable destinations in the American West — a high desert city bordered by the Cascade Mountains, the Deschutes River, and some of the best outdoor recreation in the country. Designing a hotel there means designing for guests who came to be outside, not to sit in a lobby. The Element brand, with its emphasis on sustainability, well-being, and extended-stay living, was a natural fit for the market.

The Element Bend sits at 1526 NW Wall Street, directly across from Pioneer Park and the Deschutes River trail system, within walking distance of downtown Bend and the Old Mill District. Chasen Garrett Architects worked with developer 1526 NWW, LLC and Sycan B Corp on a custom design for the hotel over a two-year period prior to construction. The extended-stay format shaped every design decision — full kitchens in every suite, efficient use of space, a fitness center, and a material and aesthetic sensibility that reflects the natural environment of Central Oregon rather than ignoring it.

The hotel is managed by InnSight Hotel Management Group and operates under Marriott International’s portfolio.
